To provide the Essential Support our patients require through personalized physical therapy. To make every patient feel like a part of our family, because in all we do we deliver a “care.experience”.
To be a part of our communities in ways that the corporations cannot match, because we truly care. To bring all of our experience to bear in caring for our patients, whether at the front reception desk or in clinical delivery.
Spinal Traction Decompression
Decompression refers to reducing the pressure on the cervical / lumbar spinal nerves by creating a negative osmotic change within the disc. This negative osmotic “suction cup” change reduces / centralizes the disc material, decompressing the spinal nerves, along with improving circulation within the disc and healing the disc wall. Decompression of the lumbar nerves decreases and eventually, in most cases, eliminates localized back / neck pain and associated shooting upper and / or lower extremity “shooting” radicular pain.
Used in the treatment of lumbar / cervical:
- Herniated Discs
- Degenerative Disc Disease
- Strain Pain
- Facet Joint Syndrome
- Suboccipital Headache Pain
Acoustic Shockwave Therapy
A non-invasive alternative to surgery. It uses strong sound pulses that expand as a wave within the body that lead to revascularization, pain relief and tissue repair. We, at Suarez Physical Therapy, have designed sports-specific training protocols for athletic disciplines that will promote a smooth transition for patients to “get back in the game.” Sports-specific training at our center will diminish risks for future injuries and will allow our patients to quickly return to competitive play.
Used in the treatment of:
- Heel Spurs
- Shoulder Tendinopathy Pain
- Golfer’s / Tennis Elbow
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Other Sports Injuries
Low-Level Laser Therapy
Uses light to speed up many stages of healing. LLLT accelerates inflammatory response and quickens bone repair while also fostering revascularization of wounds. It is proven to speed up the healing process for tendinopathy strains / sprains and post-surgical edema.
Used to treat pain and edema associated with:
- Plantar Fascitis
- Achilles Tendinitis
- Back Pain
- Knee Pain
- Muscle Strains
- Shoulder Impingements
- Carpal Tunnel
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
Thin filiform needles use to penetrate the skin to:
- Treat and Release Muscular and Connective “Trigger Point” Pain
- Increase Range of Motion
- Eliminate Neuromusculoskeletal Pain
- Increase Muscular Strength
- Decreases Sensitization of Nerves
